As criminal lawyers, we are committed to the principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and believe strongly that every case must include a thorough review for Charter issues.
We are very experienced trial lawyers having dealt with all types of offences at all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and numerous jury trials.
Our approach is to always strive to reach a reasonable resolution that is acceptable to our clients and if negotiations with the Crown Attorney are unsuccessful we are always prepared to set matters for trial in order to obtain justice for our clients. Our well-earned reputation as very effective trial lawyers is a great asset during our negotiations and often leads to exemplary results for our clients without the need for trials.

Fees
We accept a variety of legal services plans including those through OPG and Legal Aid Ontario. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac and will incorporate payment plans into our specific retainer agreements. We generally operate on a retainer system and can arrange block fee retainers where our clients pay on a value basis. We are very sensitive to our client’s financial circumstances and strive to provide legal representation at a cost that is manageable to each individual client.
